NIPT Test

379
The Non-invasive Pre Natal test is a blood test that screens for specific chromosome disorders in a developing fetus. The test can be done from 10 weeks and is a single blood draw from the mother’s arm and poses no threat to the fetus. The NIPT can also confirm the gender of a single pregnancy and is more accurate than an ultrasound and picking up abnormalities in very early pregnancy. The results are available in 3-5 working days. An Early Pregnancy scan is done before the blood test to confirm the gestational age is over 10 weeks.
